It was raining again when we got up this morning. Jim and I took showers and just after I washed my hair the electricity went off in the area. It was fixed in about 40 minutes and I finally got to dry it. Tomorrow should be partly sunny. Jim wanted to drive into Manchester to go to a brewpub. We took the scenic route through the countryside. He had a beer at Milly’s Tavern and then we drove to Hookset to have a sample of beer at White Birch Brewing. Afterward we looked through an antique mall. .
After supper we drove to the corner store and got some vanilla ice cream. I sliced a couple of the peaches we got in New York from the road side fruit stand and we had them with the ice cream. While we were at the corner store, we saw a farmer’s market across the street. It closed at 6:30 pm and they were packing up. We drove over and bought zucchini squash, tomatoes, a purple onion and a large cucumber.
