We left early and stopped for breakfast at McDonalds. We headed out toward Albany, N.Y. and on the way there drove over the Hudson River. It was very high and very muddy because of the hurricane's rain. We went to Martin Van Buren’s house, Lindenwald, and took a tour. He was the 8th president of the U.S. Down the road not too far was another house Jim wanted to visit so we headed out for that one. It was called Olana and was designed and owned by Fredrick Edwin Church, the famous landscape painter of the 1800’s. We left N.Y. and drove into Massachusetts and stayed at the Wal-mart in Chicopee (a suburb of Springfield). The dump valve came loose from the Casita and we are headed to a Camping World near Concord, New Hampshire tomorrow for repairs.
